My mom found a baby bird and its about to die is there anyway to nurse it back to health?
its legs look like they r broken and its eyes r shut but it is still breathing. it looks like a parakeet.

The only thing i can suggest is the feeding .. get a baby dropper and some baby food or some kitten food and feed him .. but if his legs are broken … vet attention is required

I don’t think so. I had a baby bird fall from the nest on our roof onto our porch. It died even when we gave it water (we couldn’t find worms or anything) within half an hour. Its grave is in our backyard.
I’ve done this one time before. Get an eye dropper an some bread moistened with milk. Moistened enough so it will come out of the dropper with ease. You will probably have to force it down its throat. It will be a trial and error effort.

Please get this bird to a vet immediately!
Do NOT try to give it any water or bread/milk mixture, as other people have recommended - a sick or injured bird can aspirate and die if you try to force any liquid into its mouth.
I have experience with birds over the years as an owner, a manager of an exotic bird store and as a volunteer at the Avian Rehabilitation Center. I can tell you that this bird needs more medical treatment than you are qualified to give it.
If you get it to a vet, there is no guarantee that the vet can save it, as the condition you describe is very severe, but if you do not get it to a vet, it will die.
Try feeding it oatmeal with a little bit of water so it would be able to swallow it & u could also put a light so he could warm up..
